CHELSEA PIERS, STAMFORD, CT. On July 30 and 31 the Brooklyn Heights St. Francis U12 squad competed in the first Snowball Showdown at Chelsea Piers, capturing third place against a strong field. The highlight of the weekend was a 7-5 loss to Greenwich Blue, one of the Northeast's top teams. BHSF had never beaten our CT rivals, but led 4-3 entering the fourth quarter before falling short.

This successful showing continued our youngest group’s strong play. At the recent Tri-State Playoffs, BHSF won two of three matches, good for fifth place, our highest finish at Tri-State since taking third place in 2012.
